Courses follow levels in order. A placement test puts you in the right one; completing a level makes you eligible for the next.

  1. A1 · Beginner

    Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions.

    You can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases. You can introduce yourself and others, ask and answer simple questions about personal details, and interact in a simple way when the other person speaks slowly and clearly.

    Can communicate in simple, routine tasks.

    Can deal with most situations while travelling.

    You can understand the main points of clear speech and text on familiar matters at work, school and leisure. You can deal with most situations while travelling, write simple connected text, and describe experiences, plans and opinions briefly.

  4. B2 · Upper Intermediate

    Can interact with fluency and spontaneity.

    You can understand the main ideas of complex text on concrete and abstract topics. You can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular conversation with fluent speakers comfortable, and write clear, detailed text explaining a point of view.

    Can express ideas fluently and spontaneously.

    You can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts and recognise implicit meaning. You can express yourself fluently and spontaneously, use language flexibly for social, academic and professional purposes, and produce clear, well-structured, detailed text.
